Dr. Randolph “Randy” C. Robinson Memorial Scholarship Fund in Classical Languages (2022–2025)

Dr. Randolph “Randy” Robinson was a doctor, philanthropist, and student of Classical Greek at the ɫƵ. To those lucky enough to be his classmates, hewasencouraging, uplifting, patient, and kind.

This scholarship, established in memory of Dr. Robinson by one such classmate, provides a $4,000 scholarship award for a student enrolled at the College of Arts and Sciences at the ɫƵ and majoring in Classics on the Greek and/or Latin Language and Literature track, in each of the years 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025. All students on the Language and Literature track who have at least one semester of undergraduate study remaining in AY 2025–26 are encouraged to apply.

The next and final submission deadline for this award is Friday, January 31, 2025.

This scholarship was established in 2022 by David Reynolds to honor Randy Robinson’s memory. David Reynolds has studied at the University of Georgia, Auburn University, the ɫƵ, and Oxford University in the UK. He served in the United States Navy. The scholarship helps to defray tuition costs for undergraduate students studying Classical languages at ɫƵ.
