- On Friday, April 25 at the ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ, engineering students will present their capstone design projects at the annual Engineering Projects Expo. This year's event will feature projects from mechanical engineering; computer science; electrical, computer and energy engineering; biomedical engineering; and civil, environmental and architectural engineering.
- ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ’s engineering graduate program came in at No. 11 when compared to its public university peers. The college earned a No. 20 overall ranking when compared to both public and private universities.
- Faculty and students from the Department of Electrical, Computer and Energy Engineering volunteered at the 2025 Denver Metro Science Fair and engaged with middle and high school students with hands-on activities such as building paper circuits and changing LED colors. The event sparked curiosity and excitement, inspiring young aspiring engineers.
- The biomedical engineering program in Gunnison will focus on functional biomechanics and equipping students with the knowledge and hands-on experience to innovate in the areas of physical trauma recovery, orthopedic design, sports science and rehabilitation engineering.
- Join us on April 1-3 for the Water Reuse Academy at the ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ. Register by March 14.
- Join in supporting the EngiNearMe summer program by becoming an EngiNearMe mentor. Gain leadership skills by sharing your engineering experience with high school studentsÌýand guiding them through an engineering design project. Apply by May 5.
- Since the Kiewit Design-Build Scholars Program launched at ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ in 2020, it has given engineering students an inside view of the design and construction industry. This month, Kiewit Corporation extended the program for five years with a generous $2.5 million investment, demonstrating a sustained commitment to the success of students.
- ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ's journey toward gender parity in engineering is a clear signal that diversity in STEM is achievable. In just two decades, CEAS has transformed its engineering landscape, growing its female undergraduate class from 18% in 2003 to 30% in 2023. CEAS’s fall 2023 class, includes 41% female students, up 27% from two decades ago. ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ clinched a top spot in 2022 for the highest percentage of first-year female engineering students from the American Society for Engineering Education.
- ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ will soon offer six transfer pathways, allowing Colorado's community college students to earn a degree aligned with their academic and career interests.
- ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ’s College of Engineering and Applied Science held steady as a top 20 undergraduate engineering program in U.S. News and World Report’sÌýBest Undergraduate EngineeringÌýrankings, maintaining the No. 17 spot among public institution peers.
