Dr. Medak-Saltzman, in collaboration with Dr. Antonio T. Tiongson, Jr. (University of New Mexico) and Dr. Ikyo Day (Mount Holyoke), will edit a new book series on "Critical Race, Indigeneity, and Relationality" to be published by Temple University Press. The series "showcases comparative studies of race, ethnicity, and Indigeneity in projects that take a self-reflexive approach in their deployment of relational frameworks and analytics." Congratulations to Professor Medak-Saltzman, who won the 2015 Ford Post-Doctoral Fellowship, one of twenty-three postdoctoral fellowships awarded nationally across all disciplines! Faculty at the University of British Columbia in the Department of History and the First Nations and Indigenous Studies Program will host Dr. Medak-Saltzman for the 2015-2016 academic year.
