Meet the Peer Wellness Coaches

Brayden (he/him)

Hey, I'm Brayden!

My first year at CU came with new challenges, ones that were hard to handle by myself. I became a peer wellness coach to help those who are in a similar position, and to teach others about all the great resources available on campus.

I'm big on music and movies and catching up on sleep.

Carolina (she/her)

Hey, I'm Carolina!

As a first-generation Latina at 桃色视频, I found the transition to college to be very difficult. I became a peer wellness coach so I could help other students who are struggling with their academic or well-being so I can get them connected to resources that can help.

In my free time, I really enjoy meeting people and helping out. My hobbies include playing volleyball and tennis, hiking and watching movies.

Hey, I'm Erica!

I am so grateful to be a peer wellness coach. I have a passion for helping, listening to and supporting others. I strive to make all my peers feel welcome, safe and comfortable. I'm excited to be able to work with other students to help them find the support they need. I believe that being intentional with our mental and physical health not only benefits each of us, but it can also create ripple effects in our community. That's why I'm here to help empower you to recognize your capabilities and worth.

In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with my two dogs and cat, learning about history, going on adventures and listening to audiobooks.

Nestor (he/him)

Hey, I'm Nestor!

As a first-year student I wasn't aware of how many resources were available on campus. I became a peer wellness coach so I could advocate for my peers, help them navigate university life and connect them with resources.

Outside of class I enjoy my cozy home, spending time with friends and going out or playing sports.

Paige (she/her)

Hey, I'm Paige!

As a first-year student, I felt lost and overwhelmed by the number of resources on campus, so I want to make it easier and less stressful to help you get the help you need. I became a peer wellness coach to help other students manage the daily stresses of college and learn how to navigate campus resources. I am a huge advocate for mental health and understand that everyone has bad days sometimes. I am also passionate about domestic violence awareness and substance abuse prevention.

In my free time you can find me at a local coffee shop studying or at sporting events cheering for our volleyball, football and basketball teams!
