    • Applicants must choose a January 1,2025 or June 1, 2025 retirement date 
  4. STEP 4

    October 4 -11, 2024

    COO and Provost review all applications 

  5. STEP 5

    October 14-18, 2024

    Updated 10/16/24

    • Department officers and HR leaders discuss approval/denial decisions with applicants
    • Friday, October 18, 12:00 PM: HR sends approval or denial messages to applicants
  6. STEP 6

    Tuesday, October 22

    • Separation agreements are sent to applicants
    • Applicants can review and consider for up to 45 calendar days from the date they receive the separation agreement
    • Once signed, a copy will be sent to central HR, the departmental officer, and the departmental HR representative
    • Once the separation agreement is signed, applicants have 7 days to revoke their agreement
    • Following the 7-day revocation period, the agreement will become binding
  7. STEP 7

    December 5 and December 7, 2024

    • January retirements: Separation agreements will expire on December 7
    • June retirements: Separation agreements will expire on December 9
    • Separation agreements must be returned to HR
