Tenth Anniversary Celebration of the U.N. Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples

On Sept. 13 and 14, 2017, the University of Colorado Law School and the United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues hosted a dynamic event to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the adoption of the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples. During this two-day event, participants looked back at the advocacy that resulted in the passage of the Declaration, discussed its present-day usage, and looked forward to implementation and the future.
