Indemnification
The State of Colorado authorized specific entities within the state to accept indemnification. The Office of Contracts and Grants (OCG) at the ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ is not authorized to provide indemnity on awards that are accepted under OCG’s authority.
ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ is a nonprofit, public, and governmental institution of higher education with a primary focus on academics and research. ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ cannot cover a sponsor’s loss. ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ shall be responsible for its ownnegligent acts or omissions as covered under CU Boulder’s self-insurance policy.
