Celebrating AAPI Heritage Month

AAPI heritage month

Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month is a time to honor the rich and diverse cultures, histories and identities that span across the vast continents of Asia and the Pacific Islands, including Western Asia. This month, we celebrate the unique experiences of AAPI communities—acknowledging both the challenges and triumphs that have shaped their journeys in the U.S. and beyond.

AAPI Heritage Month is more than just a time for reflection; it's an opportunity to come together, share stories and engage in dialogue that bridges cultural divides. From the culinary traditions that bring us together to the powerful narratives of family, community and resilience, this month offers a space for connection and celebration. It’s about honoring where we come from, learning from one another and supporting each other in our ongoing journeys of identity and self-discovery.

We recognize that the AAPI experience is not monolithic. Our events this month are designed to embrace the beautiful diversity of cultures across Asia—from East to South to Southeast to Western Asia—and the many islands of the Pacific. Together, we create an environment where all are welcome to explore, learn and celebrate the shared and individual experiences that shape our communities. Join us in commemorating a legacy of culture, history and resilience—one that transcends borders and builds bridges for the future.Ìý
