A group from the Office of Information Technology and across campus is honoring the life of Mike Carter with the formation of a through the American Diabetes Association. Folks across campus are invited to add to the support, either by donating or joining the team for the event Sept. 8. Participants may run, bike or walkÌýthe Tour de Cure.Ìý

The Tour de Cure was an important organization toÌýCarter, involvingÌýdiabetes education, research and patient rights, as well as bicycling, one of his passions.Ìý

At ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ, where Carter spent his entire professional career, from the time he was a student until his passing last fall, Carter served the campus's IT needs.
