The annual Arrow Electronics Black and Gold spring game is back on Saturday, April 19. Come rain, shine or—as the case may be during springtime in the Rockies—snow!

If you go

Parking lots open 10 a.m.
Gates open 12:30 p.m.
Game starts 2:30 p.m.

Resources

The Buffaloes will scrimmage on Folsom Field, with parking lots opening at 10 a.m. Gates open at 12:30 p.m., and the game itself starts at 2:30 p.m.

The spring game will be televised on ESPN2.

This year, the focus is on football, as Buffs fans anticipate the team’s third season under Deion “Coach Prime” Sanders. Come and get a glimpse of the team, and enjoy unique activities for the whole family.

This year, fans can get their picture taken with the Heisman Trophy won by Travis Hunter last December.

Other activities include Field Day at noon on Franklin Field: Test your skills with student-athletes, enjoy games and more.

Clear bag policy will be in effect, and there will be no re-entry into Folsom Field. Read on for Folsom Field policies, regulations and fan behavior guidelines.

Logistics

Colorado Avenue will be closed at 10:30 a.m. from Folsom to 18th Street. Vehicle inbound and outbound routes will be altered throughout the day to facilitate ingress and egress.

Excitement is steadily building for the 2024 football season, and those who want to see the Buffs take on North Dakota State University on Thursday, Aug. 29, can take advantage of a ticket deal that is exclusive to ��ɫ��Ƶ faculty and staff.

Faculty and staff members can get $10 off tickets for seating in all levels of the bowl at Folsom Field, excluding premium seating. Simply access the special faculty and staff promo ticket page to grab your tickets.

Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. Tickets for all CU home football games, with the exception of Family Weekend (vs. Cincinnati) and Homecoming (vs. Baylor) are on sale now.

Come watch the Buffs open the 2024 campaign, playing against North Dakota State University on Aug. 29, and save $10 using the faculty and staff promo ticket page. Kickoff for the game is scheduled for 6 p.m.

The Elevations Credit Union Buffalo Bicycle Classic bike ride fundraiser will take place Sept. 8 in celebration of its 22-year support of the College of Arts and Sciences BBC Scholarship Fund. This year, the 10-mile Little Buff route has been refreshed to gear it toward kids and families.

In a season of superlatives, ��ɫ��Ƶ will have one more opportunity to celebrate being in the center of the sports world, as Deion “Coach Prime” Sanders as been named 2023 Sports Illustrated Sportsperson of the Year in recognition of his tremendous impact on ��ɫ��Ƶ, the community and on college athletics in general.

Sanders will accept the award at a free star-studded public event at the CU Events Center on Dec. 6 beginning at 7:30 p.m. In addition to the award, the night will also include the world premiere of “Coach Prime” season two, the hit docuseries from Amazon Prime Video. The docuseries, which does not become available to the public until Dec. 7, provides an inside look at the program and showcases ��ɫ��Ƶ.

In their season opener this week, the CU women’s basketball team sent a message to the college basketball world by knocking off reigning national champion Louisiana State University. They then followed that win with a dominant triumph over Le Moyne to start the campaign 2-0. Don’t miss your chance to cheer on the 20th-ranked women’s team at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 12, as they face Oklahoma State.

Meanwhile, after defeating Towson in their season and home opener this week, and looking to match the women’s 2-0 start, the CU men’s team is preparing for a their next game at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 14, against the Milwaukee Panthers.
