Strategy

ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ is a global research and education leader intent on transforming individuals, communities and the entire human experience. Its mission is to serve as Colorado’s comprehensive doctoral-granting public research university.

The university’s vision is to be a leader in identifying and addressing the humanitarian, social and technological challenges of the 21st century.

With this mission and vision as the foundation, the university has developed a set of strategic priorities to guide its work, focusing on:

  • Student-Centered Campus Community
  • Research and Innovation
  • Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
  • Sustaining, Supporting and Inspiring our Community
  • Campus Success, through aligning our university's physical, digital, financial and human resources

These strategic priorities align with the CU System Strategic Plan:.

In the coming months, Chancellor Schwartz will engage with the campus community to evolve and develop these strategic priorities.

These values are reinforced by our Initiative. ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ’s identity is defined by respect for diversity and inclusivity.
